Accessing the portal is straightforward and secure through DigiD combined with SMS verification or the DigiD app. Existing patients of Spaarne Gasthuis or those with a referral from their general practitioner can sign in immediately to their MijnSpaarneGasthuis account.

Key functionalities of MijnSpaarneGasthuis include:

• Sending messages to your healthcare team.
• Completing questionnaires necessary for your treatment.
• Viewing test results such as radiology and blood test reports.
• Making, rescheduling, or cancelling appointments.
• Engaging in video calls with your healthcare provider.
