The patient portal MijnSpaarneGasthuis provides online access to your medical information, allowing for scheduled appointments, viewing test results, and communication with your healthcare team from the comfort of your home. This facilitates a deeper understanding of your health and empowers you to make informed decisions alongside your healthcare provider.
Accessing the portal is straightforward and secure through DigiD combined with SMS verification or the DigiD app. Existing patients of Spaarne Gasthuis or those with a referral from their general practitioner can sign in immediately to their MijnSpaarneGasthuis account.
Key functionalities of MijnSpaarneGasthuis include:
- Sending messages to your healthcare team.
- Completing questionnaires necessary for your treatment.
- Viewing test results such as radiology and blood test reports.
- Making, rescheduling, or cancelling appointments.
- Engaging in video calls with your healthcare provider.
- Adding yourself to waiting lists for expedited outpatient visits.
- Attaching photos in communications with the healthcare team.
- Authorizing a partner, parent, or child to access your medical record.
- Reviewing and modifying your medication information.
- Requesting repeat prescriptions.
- Updating your allergy information.
- Viewing the summary of your visit after your appointment.
- Accessing all correspondence, including letters sent by your healthcare provider to your general practitioner.
